Lobbying/Professional Organizations
Lobbyists -
Lindon City does not contract with any professional lobbying organizations. The City is a member of the Utah League of Cities and Towns, which represents the interests of municipalities during State Legislative Sessions.
Professional Organizations -
City staff participate in a number of regional and state wide professional organizations. Training and information obtained through these organizations allows the City to keep abreast of current laws and best practices, and to network with other communiites and participate in regional projects. Some of the professional organizations which the City participates with are:

Utah Recreation and Parks Association
Government Finance Officers Association
Utah Municipal Clerks Association
Utah Association of Public Treasurers
American Planning Association (APA)
