PG Outfall Project (along 2000 West)
NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE
Background
All storm water coming from Pleasant Grove City ends up in Utah Lake. To accomplish this the water travels in ditches or pipes through Lindon and other cities. One such ditch is located along the east side of 2000 West between 400 North and 200 South where is then outfalls to the lake.
Purpose
The purpose of this project is to increase the capacity in this ditch.
The existing ditch will be widened and deepened in some places. New curb and gutter will be installed along the east side of 2000 West, from 200 North to 200 South. Box culverts will be replaced along the ditch route. Most of the culverts will impact individual businesses along 2000 West, however new culverts will be installed in the 2000 West I-15 overpass, 200 North, 200 South, and 2000 West near 200 South. These road crossing culverts will impact residents and businesses using these roads.
Work Schedule
Construction will start the first week of October and will be completed in May 2025. Work will start on the north end and will work south. Detour routes are being provided.
This schedule will be updated as needed.
